About Us

The Hudsonian is the student-run newspaper of Hudson Valley Community College, dedicated to informing, engaging, and representing the campus community. We support diversity, inclusion, and accurate representation while encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and responsible journalism. Our mission is to provide a platform for student voices and to report on issues that matter to HVCC with integrity and professionalism.

Any unauthorized use of the newspaper’s name and/or articles without permission is strictly prohibited. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and of Hudson Valley Community College’s penal system. Additional information regarding printed material can be obtained by contacting The Hudsonian office on the second floor of the Siek Campus Center. The Hudsonian does not discriminate against race, gender, age, or ethnicity.

If you wish to write a letter to the editor, letters can be delivered to CTR 291 or emailed to hudsonian@hvcc.edu. Letters will be edited for grammar, style, libel, and length.
